The new MT09 engine package utilizes a DBW system with a pedal that doesn’t quite fit with taller drivers.
The solution to this has been to angle the top of the pedal head in a way that makes a little more room but drastically changes foot placement.
This new pedal is a straight down replacement that utilizes the existing electronics with a new drop in pedal. 3D printed in strong materials, this pedal moves foot placement closer to the firewall for optimized foot placement. A threaded 5/16-18 bung allows you to add a throttle stop bolt if desired.
This pedal works with the shorter legged mount adapters pictured. If yours is a longer style you may need to modify the leg length to keep the new pedal from hitting your firewall.
Simple to do on your own, but we also offer in house swaps. See our “Pedal Swap Service” below.
If you’d like us to handle the swap for you, add pedal swap service to your cart as well and then ship us your pedal assembly. We will do it for you while verifying fitment and proper sensor placement.
